harvardenglish.com trainers conduct virtual classroom sessions from their homes. Their responsibilities involve giving lively classes through discussions, role-plays. They also monitor students’ performance on the NetPill platform.
A harvardenglish.com trainer is much more than a conventional teacher. They are also a motivator and personal mentor; a coach who guides the student through their learning experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching class sessions via the telephone (55 minutes per session).
- Recording session activity and keeping meticulous notes after every session (approx. 5 minutes).
- Student Profile:
Students fall into two categories:
- Adult learners who use English for their jobs or who are learning for other personal reasons. Their age ranges between 25-55. Many are employed in multinational firms. Language levels range from pre-intermediate to advanced.
- University students who must achieve certain pass grades in exams that are recognised by their place of study. The most common exams that they want to prepare for are Cambridge First Certificate and IELTS. Their aim is to demonstrate competence at the B2 level in the Common European Framework scale of reference.
Materials and Method:
Trainers are supplied with all the necessary lesson materials (Grammar, Vocabulary Development, Role-Plays / Discussions / Follow-up,and Listenings). Our particular methodology is practical, effective and easy to apply; all relevant training is provided.
